The digitally printed designs include the cities of Delft, Vienna, Versailles, Melbourne, Paris, London, Shanghai, Havana, Amsterdam, Pompeii, Kyoto, Machu Picchu, Rio de Janeiro and Cape Town.

Also part of the collection is a special pattern known as Athena, which portrays a mix of cultural references and Marcel Wanders’ signature bell, knotted chair and vase.

Marcel Wanders’ studio produces surfaces from various materials and textures that are soft, opaque, and transparent to “create a flow of openness”.

While the Wanderlust collection is translated in different colourways, the team’s portfolio additionally introduces three-dimensional and optical illusion surface designs.

“Our surface designs offer seemingly unending depth. When done right, it is like a musical composition, where the final result finds the surface elements coming together to create one unified impactful design,” said Creative Director, Gabriele Chiave.
