Luum Textiles Collections Launch in Japan
In conjunction with Teknion Asia and Team Net Inc., Luum Textiles announced that several of its collections are now available in the Japanese market.
Suzanne Tick, Creative Director, Luum Textiles, introduced the collections to local designers, architects and clients as part of her Life & Design Tenets workshop at an event staged at the Riviera Aoyama in Tokyo.

“We were already familiar with Suzanne Tick and her work as we were looking to grow our existing textile business,” said Hitoshi Tomoda, Owner, Team Net. “We found the new collections that she was designing for Luum Textiles intriguing. The textiles were simply beautiful, generating warm energy based on firm philosophy. We are excited with the potential of carrying the Luum brand for our designers and clients in Japan.”
Dave White, Vice President of Luum Textiles, says collaborating with Team Net and Teknion in the Far East is a new and exciting opportunity for the Luum team.
At Luum, working by hand enables the designers to create textiles that are both elegantly simple yet structurally complex, according to White.
“From fiber to finish, across upholstery, panel and direct glue wall applications, our collections are designed to work together holistically, and perform in interiors anywhere around the world,” said White.
The Luum collections that are currently available in Japan include: Future Tense; Color Compound; Eastern Hemisphere; Focus In; Ideation; Phenomenology; Starting Point; Tactility; Transference and Woven Logic.
In addition to Japan, Luum collections are also available in other international markets within Central and Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific (Greater China, India, South East Asia, and Oceania).
