The Third Annual Fantini Design Awards Announces Seven Winners
Recognizing excellence in kitchen and bath design throughout North America, the third annual Fantini Design Awards has selected seven winners, six from the category of completed projects and one from the future project category.
Architects, designers and building developers with a passion for Italian design were called upon to submit eligible projects inspired by water and displayed how Fantini products helped turn their visions into reality.
Entries were evaluated by Stefano Giussani, CEO Lissoni Inc., Willian Hanley, Editor in Chief Dwell; and Zahid Sardar, Editor in Chief SPACES, on the basis of creativity, design, inspiration and quality of the submitted materials.
Completed category winners are:
- AFT House designed by Vanillawood

The Future category winner is:
- Central Park West – Private Residence designed by Spivak Architects
An apartment in New York City featuring the Aboutwater by Boffi and Fantini AF/21 Fukasawa collection throughout all bathrooms, sourced by Ferguson.
One representative per winning project will travel to the Fantini headquarters on the Lake Orta in Pella, Italy this October as a part of a 4-day, all-expenses-paid trip. Winners will experience local traditions for the area and stay at Fantini’s resort Casa Fantini/Lake Time.
Water has continued to be a wellspring of creativity throughout Fantini’s 70-year history and the winning projects have been selected with this appreciation in mind, as well as creativity in bringing Italian Design to North American audiences.
