“Although Teknion has had a presence in the Middle East for the past 20 years, this is our first corporate showroom in the region,” said Patrick Taylor, Regional Vice President, South Asia, Middle East & Africa. “Our goal with the Teknion Experience Centre is to replicate some of the great vignettes we unveiled at NeoCon last summer that created the biggest ‘wow’ factor while addressing current and evolving Middle East workplace trends. We exhibit 12 unique settings, most of which feature product never displayed outside of North America. Our new space is designed with the intent of extending our brand and sales reach across the Middle East and Africa.”

Located in the heart of Dubai, d3 is a business community dedicated to the art and design industries. It serves as a vibrant innovation hub that enables international brands and a growing number of local designers, creative professionals and artists to unite.

Full-height glass windows lend the Teknion Experience Centre a bright, open feel. The emotive materiality woven across the 2019 NeoCon Chicago showroom is also reflected in the Dubai space. The 1,130-square-foot (105m²) showroom is anchored by the less formal Communal Bar from the new Teknion Reception program. Other Teknion product includes the Zones furniture collection, upstage workplace furniture, Navigate Height-Adjustable Tables, District storage, Expansion Casegoods, Zones Modular Seating and Banqs seating.

A dedicated Luum Textiles wall features four rotating fabrics that change with each Luum launch. “Fabric sells furniture, and we have already noted a great response from dealers and clients visiting the space. A direct glue wall covering installation demonstrates another great use of the textiles,” said Taylor.

Studio TK products include three seating lines by Artifort, the new F500 Series Armchair, Pala fully upholstered lounge chair and ottoman, and versatile and stylish Beso chair program. In addition, the Envita lounge and new Freehand Occasional Tables line are present.

“The Teknion Experience Centre is the perfect venue for us to showcase our brand evolution and expanding product portfolio to our partners, clients and design fraternity. It’s an informal space to work, relax and recharge, one with a residential feel and focus on social spaces with inherently dynamic functionality. At the spatial level, they can be adapted to any company workspace and work culture. At the individual level, the social spaces are dynamic in their response to the different ways in which people work and all that their work demands.”
