Move over, Farrow & Ball, there’s a new high-end British paint supplier on the block. They’re not direct competitors because Annie Sloan’s product is intended for furniture and cabinetry application, not wall, so you won’t see big gallon paint cans on the store shelves. The first standalone Annie Sloan retail store outside Oxford, England, opened recently on Parliament Street. The eponymous Annie herself, who founded her company some 30 years ago, it is rumoured, will appear at next year’s Interior Design Show.
