LWG Architectural Interiors (LWG) and The Design Associates have announced that the two firms have recently merged. The merger became official on March 2nd, 2020.

“More minds working together to propel fresh ideas – it is the logical evolution of what LWG has always strived to accomplish,” says LWG Architectural Interiors.

Amassing a host of clients – and a coterie of repeat clients over quarter century, LWG will meld its practice with The Design Associates’ long-established arbiter of workplace design.

With over 3800 completed projects and 48 years in business, Design Associates’ list clients include Air Canada, Microsoft, Canada Post, Transport Canada, Gowling WLG, and the Salvation Army.

LWG’s workplace design history has distinguished themselves as recognized leaders in Ottawa. The company of 18 staff was the first in Ottawa to establish a LEED commercial interior. The firm believes there should be a reason for everything put into the design. No material is wasted. Nothing is frivolous. Everything has to respond to a human need or desire whether.

According to LWG, there are many commonalities between the two companies: “The most significant has to be that no one tires of the opportunity to positively affect such a significant slice of clients’ lives. Their passion is infectious. They’re banking on it being contagious.”
