Formica invites architects and designers to learn while helping Food Banks Canada
Formica Canada invites architects and designers to participate in its online training program, discover its new products and help raise $ 10,000 by April 30 for Food Banks Canada.
Formica Canada invites architects and designers several times a year to its Lunch & Learn luncheons that focus on various subjects and the discovery of its new products.
This year, due to COVID-19, Formica is offering online training to design and architecture professionals and has decided to donate one dollar for each viewing to Food Banks Canada, to help feed those who need it most.
The virtual training program is available on the Formica Group’s YouTube page and currently offers 7 videos of about ten minutes each, available in French and English:
- Hand Crafted – The 2020 Living Impressions™ Collection
- Stylish Wall Protection – HardStop™ Decorative Protection Panels
- IMM Cologne – Design Trends Recap with Gerri Chmiel
- London Design Festival – Design Trends Recap with Renee Hytry Derrington
“The health and safety of our employees, customers and their communities are our No. 1 priority during this unprecedented time, and we’re continually looking for ways to offer support,” said Mitch Quint, president of Formica Corporation North America. “The Food Banks Canada and Formica Corporation Lunch & Learn partnership is just one of many ways we’re continuing to help professionals, but more importantly, doing more to assist communities across the country.”
