FOOD to FIGHT: Meals to Healthcare Workers
Expanding on philanthropic efforts throughout the ongoing public health crisis, Eventscape and Liberty Entertainment Group have teamed up in a new effort: donating hot meals to the frontline healthcare workers at Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital and Bridgepoint Active Healthcare. Eventscape is the first company to sponsor the initiative. With Eventscape’s contribution, Liberty Entertainment Group will produce and deliver 500 meals per day from Tuesday May 19 – Friday May 22nd to the hospital’s frontline healthcare workers. The effort serves to show appreciation for and provide critical support to the champions on the front line of the fight against COVID-19. Each of the 2,000 meals delivered will be prepared by Cibo Wine Bar in the Liberty Entertainment Group’s own kitchen at Liberty Grand.
“We are happy to have teamed up with our good friends at Liberty Group to make a genuine effort to help front line staff at Mount Sinai Hospital,” says Eventscape president and founder Gareth Brennan. “For the past few months healthcare professionals have worked tirelessly and put their health and safety on the line to keep us safe. We are all very grateful for the sacrifices that healthcare workers worldwide have made. We are proud to be able to make this gesture to say thank you. We appreciate and respect your efforts now more than ever.”
This FOOD to FIGHT initiative is supported each week by generous partners who have stepped up to help make FOOD to FIGHT possible and help give back to the true champions that work every day on the front lines of COVID-
