This spring, EQ3 has joined forces with boundary-pushing, Montreal design duo, Rainville Sangaré, for a collection of minimalist stools and benches.
Lambert Rainville and Nicholas Sangaré founded their Montreal-based eponymous office in 2015. Both with backgrounds in industrial design, their studio forms a team of multidisciplinary designers carrying out long-lasting projects. Each project is focused on understanding the client’s needs and combines avant-garde design and sustainability.
With international recognition for their work in the commercial and private sectors, Rainville Sangaré also signs collaborations with clients such as Goodee, Quartz Co., and Umbra.
Inspired by the uniform look of tree logs stacked in a truck, the Biau Collection is thoughtfully crafted from long-lasting solid ash wood that evokes warmth, softness, and stability. It is distinguished by its sculptural qualities and surprising comfort and Its composition is coherent while proposing a generous geometry.
Available in ash or black ash, the collection launches June 2021 at EQ3 stores across Canada and online.
