Best of Canada competition deadline EXTENDED!
Sadly, we are not out of the woods yet.
The ongoing disruption to business logistics and workflow caused by the unrelenting COVID-19 pandemic and governments’ frequent extensions of lockdown protocols is continuing to cause many unforeseeable logistical hurdles faced by the Canadian A+D community. Therefore, we at Canadian Interiors have decided to significantly extend the submission window to give you more time to enter your Projects and Products to the Canadian Interiors Best of Canada Awards competition.
Submissions are now due by Thursday, September 9th (11:59 pm).
The structure and outline of the competition will remain the same: projects and products are each judged anonymously and on their individual merit by a jury of esteemed architecture and design professionals, each expert in their areas of focus. All winners will be published in the Awards issue of Canadian Interiors, now scheduled for the November-December issue, with the Project of the Year winner featured on the cover. Projects must have been completed between June 2019 and August 2021. The project must be either located in Canada, or an international project where a member of the design team is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Products must be physically prototyped; or if in production must have been launched in the market in the same timeframe.
The Best of Canada is the country’s only design competition focusing on interior design projects and products without regard to size, budget or location. Submissions are welcome from interior designers, architects, landscape architects, decorators, crafts persons and design students.

Stay healthy, stay safe, and we look forward to seeing your best work entered in the competition!
