The IDC Foundation presents a lecture series in honour of Robert Ledingham
Interior Designers of Canada and the IDC Foundation are presenting a lecture series in honour of the memory of Robert (Bob) Ledingham.
The Robert Ledingham Legacy program was established in 2013 by IDC and IDIBC and supports interior design postgraduate study. Ledingham was instrumental in advancing the profession locally, nationally, and internationally, and was a leader in the development of the interior design educational accreditation process in North America.
The lecture series’ inaugural speaker is Klaus Nienkämper. Nienkämper will present an in depth look at his own personal journey in the industry, lessons learned along the way, and what lies ahead for furniture design, manufacture and distribution.
Tickets for the event are by donation to the Ledingham Scholarship fund and donors will receive a tax receipt. The organization states that the donations will be matched by Nienkämper and will fund the Robert Ledingham Scholarship program.
The scholarship annually awards candidates who have recently been accepted, or who are currently enrolled in their first academic year of graduate school at the masters or doctorate level.
