On February 2, 2023, winners of the 2022 Canadian Interiors 25th Best of Canada Awards, together with recipients of the 2022 Canadian Architect Awards of Excellence, gathered to celebrate the best of Canadian architecture, interior design and product design at Le Phénix, the headquarters of architecture firm Lemay in the heart of Montréal’s South-West borough. 
An experimental laboratory for innovations in sustainability and workplace design, guests were treated to an inspiring setting of a net zero energy building converted from a parking garage, where glasses were raised to the winners of the two awards programs. The fête marked the first time that either magazine held an awards gala outside of Toronto, and many of the winners travelled from across Canada to celebrate with their colleagues.
