Sherwin-Williams introduces new approach to annual colour trend report

Sherwin-Williams recently introduced the Colormix Forecast 2024, Anthology: Volume One, a fresh biennial approach to the traditional annual colour trend report.
This recurring colour guide will alternate on a yearly basis. Looking forward to 2024, the first Anthology collection explores the directional shifts of four chromatic groupings – delving into the significance behind the chosen colours, their role in revitalizing modern aesthetics, and what their future holds.
Comprising a selection of 48 shades, the assortment will explore four palettes: blues and greens, reds and purples, deeps and darks, and subtle tints.

Palette Number One, the convergence of blues and greens, embraces a global colour narrative that blends a spectrum of natural gray-blues to bluish-greens. This palette draws inspiration from nature, resulting in a progression from soft to dark shades.

Palette Number Two, the poetry of reds and purples, showcases a dynamic range of hues from warm red tones to soft and cheerful pinks and purples. These colours are balanced by natural earthy pigments, offering a mix of subdued and expressive shades.

Palette Number Three is a collection of deeps and darks designed to create a bold and powerful atmosphere. These dark and dramatic hues can be used to create contrast with coloured light or gilded metallic accents.

Palette Number Four offers a study in delicate tints, providing a serene and minimalist experience. The soft tints, complemented by warm and cool undertones, aim to create a serene atmosphere.
