Allseating Receives Greenhealth Approved Sustainability Seal
Allseating is the first Canadian-based company to receive the Greenhealth Approved sustainability seal.

Practice Greenhealth recently announced Allseating as their latest Greenhealth Approved supplier.
Allseating, a company that provides seating solutions for office, educational, hospitality, and healthcare industries, is the first Canadian-based company to receive the Greenhealth Approved seal. The seal indicates that the company’s products meet specific sustainability criteria. It also enables healthcare providers to identify environmentally preferred products without having to conduct a third-party ingredient verification.
“We are immensely honored to be the latest furniture manufacturer and the first Canadian-based company to receive the Greenhealth Approved seal,” said Paul Vendittelli, president of Allseating. “As a company, we’re proud that each of our teams has contributed to ensuring our products meet the demands of modern healthcare environments and contribute to a healthier, more sustainable future. We believe in creating eco-friendly furnishing solutions that make a difference through continuous innovation and adherence to the highest environmental standards.”
In order to attain the Greenhealth Approved seal, manufacturers must adhere to specific sustainability criteria including the elimination of harmful substances such as Formaldehyde, PFAS, PVC, Antimicrobials, and Flame Retardants from their products. The company’s entire product range successfully met the criteria, which showcases their commitment to sustainability.
The program for furnishings under the Greenhealth Approved seal works in collaboration with the data submission and audit conducted by BIFMA (Business and Industrial Furnishing Manufacturers Association). This is already a common process undertaken by furnishing manufacturers. As an optional credit, this collaboration also incorporates the criteria of Health Care Without Harm for the furnishing category.
“The Greenhealth Approved seal is a testament to a product’s compliance to thorough sustainability criteria aimed at promoting healthier indoor environments,” said Mary Starr, chief operating officer at Greenhealth Approved. “Allseating’s achievement demonstrates a robust commitment to environmental stewardship and reflects the values of Practice Greenhealth. We are thrilled to recognize Allseating as a Greenhealth Approved supplier and look forward to witnessing the positive impacts of their sustainable products in healthcare settings.”
Allseating also recently earned the Level 3 certification, which is the highest sustainability achievement a product can reach for the seating, tables, and casegoods product categories. This certification is a voluntary standard that establishes performance criteria to provide information on indoor air quality, material composition, issues related to life cycle assessments, social responsibility, and ecosystem impacts.
