Skynest is a delicate lamp that marks Marcel Wanders’s return to the theme of the suspended dome. Skynest has a typical pendant light shape with a central core. The light is not emitted by a bulb or LED board, but by LED strips covered in fabric, the elements that form the structure. Skynest Ceiling is the cordless, ceiling-mounted version of Skynest, which is ideal for rooms with low ceilings.

“By weaving streaks of light, this pendant perfectly combines elegance and innovation. Delicate textile tubes, integrated with LED lights, are woven like threads along the structure of the lamp creating a unique surprise element that challenges the archetype of bulb lighting. Designed to last, Skynest poetically blends the tradition of handcrafted weaving with innovative lighting techniques to create a timeless piece of design,” said Wanders.

Skynest Ceiling was designed for sustainability and is meant to be appreciated as a work of art. It is available in four colours which include Anthracite, Almond, Brick and Tourmaline Blue.

Luciel Family by Mitzi

Mitzi’s new collections aim to evoke the light-hearted spirit of the ’70s, with materials like nuage glass and burl wood which add personality to simple, geometric silhouettes to create a sense of nostalgia.

Luciel, inspired by an acorn growing on a branch, features gently curved forms, soft Opal Shiny Glass shades, and a  vintage gold leaf finish.

The jewelry-like aesthetic of the fixture is refined and elongated which aims to create a surreal representation of nature. Luciel is available as a sconce, chandelier, and pendant.
