The Toronto Society of Architects (TSA) Paper City, is inviting participants to be the architect of their own paper creations as part of a special family program for Doors Open Toronto 2024.

Participants and their children will be able to test their architectural skills and creativity by building a piece of TSA Paper City, a community art piece made from participants’ designed buildings.

The activity will include various printed templates for families to cut, colour, and fold together to create their own unique structures. The event will also feature TSA volunteers who will be on hand to help participants craft their architectural masterpieces.

From soaring skyscrapers to domed libraries, the possibilities are endless, and once complete, can be added to the folded metropolis to watch TSA Paper City grow.

The event will take place at the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) headquarters, located at 111 Moatfield Drive, on Saturday May 25 and Sunday May 26, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This activity is suitable for all ages and the OAA encourages everyone stopping by during this year’s Doors Open Toronto weekend to take part.
