ICFF 2025
A healthy roster of over 400 brands were on display servicing commercial, residential, and hospitality environments.

A stalwart on the North American design fair circuit, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) can be happy with another successful edition in the bag. ICFF welcomed more than 13,000 attendees to the Javits Center in mid-May and saw a five per cent increase in the attendee-to-exhibitor ratio.
“We are thrilled with this edition of ICFF. The quality of the exhibitors and the effort they put into creating thoughtful, creative, and inspiring presentations truly stood out. Their work beautifully aligned with our goal of offering a unique, elevated, and positive experience for all attendees,” said ICFF brand directors Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat. “The balance between the expanding WANTED area and the core ICFF exhibition was especially powerful. Emerging designers brought fresh, exciting work that infused the fair with energy and excitement, while established brands such as Juniper and the launch of Morpho by Ethnicraft and Tomorrowland surprised and delighted with unexpected presentations and thoughtfully designed spaces. Both parts of the show complemented each other seamlessly.”

Over the course of three days, over 400 established and emerging design brands representing 35 countries, presented furniture, materials and textiles, lighting, flooring and rugs, kitchen and bath, wallcoverings, and assorted objects for commercial, residential, and hospitality environments.
Over 80 design icons, editors, and emerging talents took the stage for panels, keynotes, and special showcases at the Main Stage and the Oasis, drawing an audience of 1,500 people. In addition to curating an elevated design experience, ICFF enhanced its business tools to support engagement, with over 54,000 connections made through the ICFF app alone.

Additionally, almost 30 speakers led more intimate conversations in the Bespoke Salon, the Aqua Atelier by Grohe space, and the Juniper Recharge Lounge. Together, these sessions offered an inclusive talks program that showcased a diversity of topics and formats and sparked meaningful dialogue.

“This year, the quality and diversity of the programming was stronger than ever before, becoming an integral part of the ICFF experience. The wide range of talks, panels, and special events added depth and richness to the show, reinforcing its role as a key platform for design innovation and thought leadership. Despite the current economic climate, we saw increases across the board — attendance numbers were up, engagement was high, and we’ve already seen strong renewal momentum for 2026. Exhibitors consistently shared how impressed they were by the quality of the visitors, and attendees echoed that sentiment, noting the richness and relevance of the brands on display. It was an energizing, elevated edition for the entire design community. This year confirmed that ICFF is the unique meeting point of culture and commerce. Specifiers and buyers showed up in force, and the attendance numbers underscore the show’s continued relevance,” added Hainaut and Pijoulat.

This year, ICFF hosted the ICFF Editors Awards, WANTED’s Best of Launch Pad Awards for furniture/home accessories and lighting, Best of Schools award, and Best of Students award.

ICFF 2026 is set to take place from May 17 to 19, 2026.
