The deadline has been extended for IDC’s Innovation Awards.
Exclusively for IDC Industry Partners, the Innovation Awards program was established in 1984 to honour excellence in product design and new showroom creativity.
Industry partners can still submit products and showrooms until Friday, July 4, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. ET, for a jury of top interior designers and specifiers to review.
Entries must address multiple criteria, including problem-solving, budget, strategy, environmental responsiveness, sustainability, and marketing objectives. Partners are also eligible to submit entries for multiple products.
Winners will be honoured at a celebratory Awards gala with over 200 attendees this fall, and winning submissions will be showcased to IDC members across Canada on their online channels.

IDC has also announced dates for the eighth Design Symposium returning this fall from October 29 to 30, 2025.
The two-day event attracts more than 150 members of the design and architecture community from across Canada, and offers them design tours and IDCEC credits through panel discussions and seminars.
This year’s event will take place at Clio in Toronto. Participants can expect to connect and network with peers, hear from speakers, participate in workshops, and celebrate interior design at the IDC Awards Celebration, featuring the Value of Design Awards (VODA).
