Boutique Design New York (BDNY) returned to the Jacob K. Javits Center to unite global innovators in hospitality, design, and development.
This year’s edition, which took place from November 9 to 10, 2025, offered almost 40 sessions examining design’s expanding influence across culture, wellness, technology, and storytelling, brought together more than 16,000 industry professionals, and featured more than 750 exhibitors and over 180 speakers. It also invited attendees on a multisensory journey through four immersive Designed Spaces, two of which were created by Canadian design firms. Each space was conceived as an experiential environment where inspiration met installation.
Midnight Garden, by Canadian design firm DesignAgency, guided visitors through rhythmic arches and monochrome atmospheres. Each step revealed a new threshold, shifting from serene to surreal, illustrating how design can evoke reflection and wonder. This booth aimed to be an “etheral dreamscape” rendered in light, motion, and mood.
For BDNY, DREAM partnered with interior design company Nivek Remas to create The Splash Pad, Inspired by poolside culture of high-end resorts, the space merged “daylife energy with nighttime allure” using mirrored planes, aquatic tones and sounds.
