The Goods: Surface Treatments
These products, all launched at NeoCon 2026, showcase how acoustics, sustainability, and innovation are influencing wall and ceiling treatments.

Mirage Panels with SpinFix | Autex Acoustics via Momentum
Mirage is a textured acoustic panel range by Autex Acoustics designed to create a sensory experience. Made from 100 per cent recycled PET, the panels can be paired with SpinFix, an adhesive-free mounting system launched at NeoCon that uses friction-welding technology to fix clips to acoustic panels. SpinFix recycles in-house waste through a new process the brand pioneered called RePET, allowing the company to create products with a completely circular lifecycle. Mirage Panels with SpinFix earned a Best of NeoCon Gold Award in the Acoustics & Privacy: Acoustic Solutions category, as well as the Best of NeoCon Business Impact Award. This product is available exclusively through Momentum.

FilzFelt Søuld | Spinneybeck
Spinneybeck has expanded its natural material collection with Søuld eelgrass acoustic panels, which debuted at NeoCon. Eelgrass, a marine plant naturally grown off the coast of Denmark, is collected after it washes ashore and, through a fully circular manufacturing process, is pressed into durable sheets. With a centuries-long lifespan, eelgrass offers a durable option for sustainable wall panels and baffles that benefit the environment, while bringing a warm and natural aesthetic to interiors.
Danish material manufacturer Søuld developed eelgrass mats to offer the interior design industry a natural acoustic solution as an alternative to synthetic options. The use of the plant in structural design dates back to the 1600s when settlers on the Danish island of Læsø used it to forge thick roof-thatching for their homes. In a landscape with scarce resources, eelgrass was easily accessible and abundant. Today, this natural and recyclable panel takes a modern approach to the time-honoured material, using state-of-the-art science and technology while preserving important aspects of Danish cultural heritage. Søuld eelgrass is 100 per cent recyclable and the products are fully circular. When no longer in use, they can be returned to become a second-generation Søuld product.

Cushion | Turf
Turf has introduced Cushion, an acoustic wall panel collection that examines how surfaces can shape atmosphere and acoustic performance. Launched at NeoCon, Cushion features an undulating form designed to allow highlights to gradually transition into soft shadows. Its rolling surface introduces movement and repetition, forming a series of gentle valleys when installed and creating a curtain-like effect across the wall. Cushion aims to feel substantial without appearing heavy, and its softness and curvature help create a more inviting atmosphere. Deeper internal cavities and built-in acoustic chambers improve comfort by absorbing sound effectively. That level of control allows the system to maintain continuity as depths change, creating a surface that reads as one cohesive gesture rather than a series of individual panels.

Alma Collection | WVH
Introduced at NeoCon, this system of acoustical architectural wall panels created in collaboration with Mexican-born multidisciplinary designer Alfonso Verduzco is inspired by Mexico’s rich material heritage and the relationship between material, craft, and space, the collection explores how the region’s cultural and architectural identity can be reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. For the launch, the nine-part series debuted with three designs: Sagrado, Sendero, and Reflejo, each an expression of native, organic materiality and WVH’s signature craftsmanship.
Alma, meaning “soul” in Spanish, reflects a philosophy where structural elements embody physical presence, tactile depth, and material intelligence. Grounded in material honesty and acoustic performance, the panel systems function as structural design features and allow texture, light and rhythm to work in tandem to transform walls. WVH secured a Best of NeoCon Gold Award for Wall Treatments and was named a Best of Competition finalist for the Alma collection.
