Teknion

Teknion has announced the appointment of Koorosh Sharghi as chief brand and product officer. Sharghi will join the company’s executive committee and continue to serve as president of Studio TK. Sharghi’s understanding of the Teknion organization positions him to succeed in this dual role. Since joining Studio TK, Sharghi has spearheaded a brand relaunch, bolstered the product pipeline, strengthened operations, expanded the distribution network, and better integrated the Studio TK business across the broader Teknion organization. In this new capacity, Sharghi will assume oversight of Teknion’s marketing, design, product, and data functions to optimize the brand architecture, align development efforts, and enhance Teknion’s overall customer experience.


Duravit

Duravit has announced an executive leadership update to drive the next phase of strategic growth across the Americas. Oliver Bleich has been appointed president of Duravit Americas, effective August 1, 2026. He succeeds Bob Downie, who concluded his tenure in July 2026. This leadership transition reinforces Duravit’s ongoing commitment to investing in the Americas, growing its premium and project business, and strengthening its market position. Bleich brings extensive international leadership experience in the premium interiors and design industry, having held senior positions at Dornbracht, SieMatic, and Keuco, and most recently serving as executive vice president at Fermob USA. His expertise and customer-focused approach are expected to accelerate Duravit’s growth, deepen customer relationships, and further strengthen Duravit’s position as the brand of choice for architects, designers, trade partners, and consumers in this key global market.


Perkins&Will Canada

Perkins&Will Canada has announced a series of promotions in its Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver studios across multiple disciplines and practice areas. Lana Shahin, interiors leader for Canada East, has been named a managing principal in the Toronto studio.

With over a decade of experience across five countries, including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, the UAE, and now Canada, her portfolio includes work spanning commercial developments, corporate workplaces, high-end residential, and hospitality sectors. Shahin joined Perkins&Will in 2017 and transitioned to the Toronto studio in 2021. Her work is rooted in both creative exploration and technical precision, allowing her to bridge conceptual vision with execution.
