The Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturer’s Association (ASCER) has opened submissions for the 25th edition of the Tile of Spain Awards in Architecture and Interior Design.
The annual competition recognizes projects that demonstrate design, technical excellence and creativity using Spanish ceramic tile.
The Tile of Spain Awards highlight projects that demonstrate the creative and technical potential of ceramic tile. The program recognizes a range of work, from architectural concepts and interiors to new applications and craftsmanship. For the 2026 edition, ASCER is accepting completed projects from architects, interior designers, installers, students and other industry professionals.
A panel of judges from the architecture, interior design and ceramic tile industries will review the submissions. Entries will be evaluated on design quality, creativity, originality and the integration of Spanish ceramic tile within the vision and function and character of each project.
Entries must be submitted under one of two main categories, Architecture or Interior Design, with each category further divided into two subcategories: projects using dry-pressed porcelain stoneware and projects using any other ceramic type, including extruded porcelain stoneware, rustic stoneware, glazed stoneware, wall tiles, mosaic, terracotta, and more. A grand prize of €8,000, equivalent to approximately $9,000, will be awarded in each subcategory. The jury may also award up to two special mentions in each category.
Project submissions are being accepted from now until Thursday, October 22, 2026.
