Winners were announced in four categories that included Ambulatory Care Centers, Hospice Care, Hospitals, and Senior Living & Residential Health, Care, and Support Facilities. The Best of Competition was selected from the Best of Category winners.

“The quality of entries and depth of design talent demonstrated in the project submissions was exemplary and indicative of the breadth of complexity involved in creating effective and efficient healing spaces,” says Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, executive vice-president and CEO of IIDA. “In selecting the winning projects, the IIDA panel of judges worked to bring together their knowledge of the industry and advances in the medical field, a sense of what is relevant design, and a search for what is original. The project solutions in each category are true representatives of the power of design to promote and protect health and well-being.”
