Do you know of a washroom that is brag-worthy? If so, nominate it now! Starting today through June 15th, Cintas Canada, Ltd. is accepting nominations for the ninth annual Canada’s Best Restroom contest.
“There is great value in providing a positive public washroom experience,” said Candice Raynsford, Marketing Manager, Cintas Canada, Ltd. “In addition to showcasing unique, well-designed restrooms, this contest highlights the importance of having a clean, well-stocked facility for a business’ success and reputation.”
Last year, the Bayview Village Shopping Centre in Toronto, Ontario, won the title and prize for its chic décor, elegant chandeliers, cushioned chairs and touch-free toilets, faucets and hand dryers.
“We are incredibly honoured to have won the Canada’s Best Restroom contest,” said John Minas, General Manager, Bayview Village Shopping Centre. “Soon after the news broke, our washrooms were the talk of the town and still continue to be a highlight for visitors. We pride ourselves in creating a simple yet luxurious atmosphere for our guests, and that certainly extends into our washrooms.”
Do you own a business with fabulous facilities? Are you the creative mind or part of a team behind a washroom’s stylish design? Or have you visited a particularly luxurious loo?
This contest is open to any non-residential restroom in Canada that is accessible to the general public. Entries will be judged based on five criteria: cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements. Stay tuned this summer, to find out who the five fabulous finalists are and vote for your favourite. The winner will receive the royal restroom treatment from Cintas with $2,500 in facility services.
