Jonathan Dorthe’s latest bright ideas

Montreal-based designer Jonathan Dorthe has introduced a new family of lamps as well as a new single lamp.

CYLINDER LATH LAMPS, TABLE AND PENDANT LIGHTS
The architectural Cylinder Lath Lamp is made from a thin laser-cut plywood, assembled to create volume. The horizontal band is made of a zebrano wood veneer to contrast the light structure, which creates a warm lantern effect. The Cylinder Lath Lamp is designed in two different sizes of a cylinder shape and can be used as a table light or pendant; it projects dramatic geometric shadows. They come with a 15′ 5″ black cord set, 60 Watt max. The dimensions are : 11 3/4” wide by 12” high for the full size and 6 1/2” wide by 12” high for the half size.

HEXA TABLE LAMP
Here is a small table lamp that creates a warm atmospheric mood. The base has an hexagonal shape and is made of black acrylic; the shade is made of wood veneer, perforated with a gradiant of hexagons. The dimensions of the Hexa Table Lamp are 9’’ wide by 14’’ high.

All lamps are designed by Jonathan Dorthe for Atelier-D.
