Six Degrees of integration
Bregman + Hamann Architects recently acquired the operations of Six Degrees Architecture and Design. With the integration of the Six Degrees staff at B+H’s Toronto office, clients of both firms now have access to an enhanced team of architecture and interior design professionals and a broader array of building consulting services. The combined firm’s clients include leading commercial, retail, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, and residential clients.
“Six Degrees is a perfect fit with B+H,” says Bill Nankivell, CEO of Bregman + Hamann. “Over the past 16 years, Six Degrees has established a strong and loyal client base, and won numerous international awards.” The firm was created in 1991-under the name of Ruys de Perez Architect-by Lisa Bate, immediate past president of the Ontario Association of Architects and fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
“While we were offered several opportunities to merge our team with other firms, B+H made the best sense,” says Lisa Bate. “A common commitment equally to architecture, planning and interior design both locally and globally is what attracted us.” A leader in both architecture and interior design, Bate joins B+H as a partner.
Based in Toronto with offices in Vancouver, Shanghai and the United Arab Emirates, Bregman + Hamann employs more than 180 people worldwide.
