AIBC exhibit

The Architectural Institute of British Columbia is currently displaying submissions from its annual awards program. The exhibit includes entries across each of four award categories: the Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia Award; AIBC Innovation Award; AIBC Special Jury award; and the newly introduced AIBC Emerging Firm Award.

Of particular distinction are this year’s top projects: the medal-winning Arts & Social Sciences 1 and Blusson Hall at Simon Fraser University by Busby Perkins+Will Architects; and a series of three public park washrooms by Bruce Carscadden Architect.

“It’s a pleasure to host this impressive collection of work at the AIBC Gallery,” says AIBC Council President Pierre Gallant MAIBC. “This exhibit highlights the inspired work being done here at home and internationally by B.C. architects and associates.”

The free exhibit runs through to June 26 at the AIBC Gallery, located at #100 – 440 Cambie Street, Vancouver. It is open to the public Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
