Korson Furniture Design has come to Woodbridge, Ont., home of Campio, Kingsdown and Superstyle. One of Canada’s leading manufacturers and distributors of quality furniture and home accents has opened a new state-of-the-art facility, including a showroom, manufacturing plant and warehouse. The new facility is located near the intersection of Highways 7 and 427, just 10 minutes from the International Center.
Korson Furniture Design is a distributor of mid- to high-end imports, as well as a manufacturer of custom upholstered chairs. The new facility contains a woodshop, paint shop and upholstery shop dedicated entirely to the Korson Custom Order Program. Korson Furniture is also the exclusive Canadian distributor of the Stein World Collection of over 1,100 pieces of accent furniture and lamps.
The new facility has allowed Korson Furniture to expand its space and inventory in order to provide the best possible service to its customers. Says Korson president Joseph Roboz, “The 32-foot ceiling height has permitted us to install two additional layers of warehouse mezzanines increasing our storage capacity three fold.”
Korson Furniture Design will operate two showrooms simultaneously for the upcoming Toronto Furniture Market. The new showroom in the Woodbridge facility will feature the Korson Stock Program as well as the Korson Custom Order Program; while the showroom at the International Centre – Hall 1, Suite 201 – will feature the Stein World line of accent furniture, occasional tables and lamps. “By operating two showrooms we will have the ability to show well over 1,000 items at the upcoming Furniture Market, which runs from January 15 to 18, 2001,” says Roboz.
The grand opening of the new facility will take place January 12 to 18, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. And to help kick off the grand opening in style for all visitors, a complimentary shuttle service will be available from the International Centre to the new location.
