Four awards for Teknion
Teknion Corporation today announced that its Interpret universal desking system, Sidewise compact casegoods, Projek task seating and LOGIQ energy-management system all received Innovation Awards at IIDEX Canada, the country’s largest National Design + Architecture Expo and Conference held in Toronto. Interpret was honored with a Silver while Sidewise, Projek and LOGIQ earned Bronze awards.
“It is very rewarding for Teknion to be recognized by the jury of prominent interior designers and specifiers and to receive four Innovation Awards for our new workplace designs at IIDEX Canada,” says Scott Deugo, senior vice-president & chief sales officer, World Markets. “It’s especially rewarding after Interpret, Sidewise and LOGIQ were recently honored with Best of NeoCon Awards in Chicago.”
Interpret is a new universal desking system – a simple, complete and highly flexible desking system designed to meet the needs of people and organizations worldwide with a single product line. Interpret is unique in that it combines the best features of desking and benching systems.
Sidewise takes a fresh approach at addressing the unique needs of smaller workspaces resulting from today’s shift towards more open-plan environments with increased collaborative work. The Sidewise compact casegoods workstation/hub was designed by Christopher Wright, Design Principal, figure3.
Projek is a synchro-tilt mesh task chair that promotes a range of postures and movement, is comfortable, easy to use and environmentally conscious. Projek is the result of new partnership between Teknion and Orangebox Limited, one of the U.K.’s leading office furniture companies.
Developed in partnership with Enmetric Systems Inc., the LOGIQ energy management system measures and controls energy usage at the individual plug level with real-time feedback and system management. LOGIQ enables corporations to become more informed and responsible towards their resultant environmental footprint.
