The Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) announced Kate Webb of Interface as the winner of the 2013 Barry Carroll Sales Professional of the Year Award Wednesday night at its annual gala dinner.
The Barry Caroll Sales Professional of the Year Award, named in memory of a very special member of the Ontario interior design community, recognizes the best sales professional in the industry as selected by interior design practitioners. The awarded individual is knowledgeable, dedicated and goes above and beyond to meet the demands of practitioners and clients.
As a trusted sales executive with over five years of experience in the architectural products industry, Webb currently holds the position of account executive for Interface. Extremely involved in Toronto’s design community, she is an active volunteer for ARIDO’s GTA Chapter and participates on several committees each year.
“Kate is a valued member of the ARIDO community,” says ARIDO president Janine Grossmann.“Not only does she provide excellent service as a representative for Interface, she is also a tireless volunteer, contributing her time and energy to association activities and events.”
Finalists for the Barry Carroll Sales Professional of the Year Award also included Tim Au-Yeung of Humanscale; Mahesh Babooram of Interface; Sherrie Beckford of Wilsonart; Julie Charron of Tandus Flooring; Laura Cook of Steelcase; Katie Lind of Miliken Design; Edwin Ocampo of Keilhauer; and Cynthia Perne of Olympia Tile International.
