OBI Environments (OBI), formerly known as Ottawa Business Interiors, has announced that it will acquire Workplace Resource Montreal, a corporately owned dealership of Herman Miller, Inc. The sale is expected to be completed on Mar. 1.
OBI is the oldest privately owned Herman Miller dealer in Canada, and offers a comprehensive range of products and services for the office, healthcare, government, higher-education, hospitality and small-business markets. OBI was founded in 1974 by Michael LeClair, and is managed today by Chris LeClair. The LeClairs have earned an outstanding reputation in the community for their extensive offering of products and services, including in-house design, project management and installation, as well as highly specialized training in the healthcare industry.
