Stratum armchair mixes Italian and Japanese design

From Grassi Pietre comes the Stratum armchair, a unique blend of Italian and Japanese design. It’s by the creative duo (Japanese-born but Milan adopted) Setsu and Shinobu Ito.

Generously proportioned, made for both indoor and outdoor spaces, Stratum is constructed of Vicenza stone type Bianco Avorio.

Grassi Pietre was established in 1850 and counts on a four-generation experience in the Vicenza Stone tradition. Thanks to its long history combining work and passion with constant technological innovation, skilled craftsmanship and scientific investigation, Grassi Pietre quite literally “materializes” the ideas of architects and designers. The company’s passion, experience and solid know-how are a synonym for careful service and effective, elegant and durable solutions: from building site surveys to stone components design; from material selection to installation and setup. Every single detail is constantly monitored and analyzed, from the delivery of blocks and slabs, to the finest architectural or furnishing detail.
