Punkt. is delighted to announce the launch of its fourth product: the UC 01 USB Desktop Charger, designed by Jasper Morrison, during the Salone del Mobile 2015 in Milan.
In occasion of the launch, Punkt. will present the Italian-made UC 01 USB Desktop in two exciting locations in new design quarters: designjunction edit Milan, Casa dell’Opera Nazionale Balilla (San Babilla Design Quarter) and the group exhibition A Matter of Perception: Products & Materials, Palazzo Litta, Corso Magenta 24 (the 5 Vie Design District).
At the fourth designjunction edit event in Milan, Punkt. will be launching the UC 01, beside its full product line and shop area. This year’s show is taking place at the Casa dell’Opera Nazionale Balilla, a spectacular former school building and ex-theatre built in the 1930s and sees Punkt. presenting the UC 01 for the frst time, alongside its full line of products and shop on the ground foor.
This April, Punkt. also partners with DAMn° – the monthly international magazine for contemporary culture – to present the UC 01 at the group exhibition A Matter of Perception: Products & Materials, hosted at the splendid historical venue Palazzo Litta.
The group show organized by DAMn° and Mosca Partners brings together some of the world’s most exciting architecture and design talent in the heart of Milan’s new art and design district 5 Vie. Punkt. will be housed in the beautiful internal courtyard with an installation and will welcome and offer mobile device recharging with its new desktop charger.
On occasion of this event, the Pondicherry table (2012) and Perpignan low tables (2011), designed by Morrison for Marsotto edizioni, have been used to create an exclusive product display for Punkt.’s exhibition at A Matter of Perception: Products & Materials at Palazzo Litta, Milan 2015.
Also featuring in the Punkt. exhibition the table lamp: Cheshire (2013), designed by GamFratesi for FontanaArte; and the Superoblong sofa (2007) designed by Jasper Morrison for Cappellini.
