This year [email protected] is receiving growing support from the local, provincial and national professional industry associations, including:

  • National Associations: Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), Interior Designers of Canada (IDC), Construction Canada Specifiers (CSC)
  • Provincial Associations: Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO), Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario (AATO)
  • Local Association: Toronto Society of Architects (TSA)

Together, these associations are playing a key role in creating this year’s accredited seminars at [email protected] The respective associations have the opportunity to present a seminar that represents the interest of their members and the industry as a whole. This year seminar schedule includes:

1:00 pm — Designing the Experience Driven Life – How does design influence our emotions and sense of place? – Presented by IDC with Kevin Katigbak, Senior Workplace Strategist, Gensler

3:00pm  — The Journey to Zero – Presented by OAA with David Fujiwara, B.Arch, OAA and John Stephenson, B.Arch, OAA, MAA, FRAIC

5:00pm — Experience the Sound. Feel the Silence – An overview of acoustics from design through
construction –
Presented by TSA with Steve Titus, President & CEO of Aercoustics and Kiyoshi Kuroiwa, P.Eng Senior Engineer and Lead Contract Administrator

Thursday, April 4:

11:30am– Keys to Branding Consistency and Efficiency for Architecture Firms – Presented by TSA with Chrisitna Kelly, Brand Strategist, Entro and Monika Meyer, Designer, Entro

1:00pm — Project Management for Architects and Interior Designers – Presented by IDC with Brad Netkin, Architect, Stamp Architecture

3:00pm  — KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Presented by AZURE TALKS with Eric Bunge, nArchitects on ‘Building and Almost Buildings’

5:00pm — Continuing the Conservation: A conversation on the state of heritage conservation continuing education in Canada – Presented by  RAIC with Kristen Gagnon, MRAIC, Program Officer at the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC).
