The Diplomat | Henrybuilt
The Diplomat is the first of six standalone islands in Henrybuilt’s Primary Objects Collection. Designed to enhance flow and functionality in the kitchen, this high-performance island with an integrated system of tools, aims to create a synchronized food preparation experience. Handcrafted in Seattle using domestically sourced materials, The Diplomat draws inspiration from an artisan’s workbench as well as the art of cooking. Its open, all-sided accessibility encourages effortless movement, while the Henrybuilt Opencase at one end provides a storage solution for pots, pans, and other essentials.
At the heart of The Diplomat is Henrybuilt’s newly refined Bar Block, a feature that serves as a tool organizer and subtle spatial divider. With a thinner profile and updated edge detail, it discreetly houses stackable tool boxes and kitchen accessories. These tools can move between the Bar Block, drawers, and Henrybuilt’s Backsplash System, which transforms kitchen walls into interactive, functional spaces.
Walk-Through Pantry | Elmwood
The Walk-Through Pantry by Canadian custom cabinetry brand Elmwood is an architectural element designed to enhance kitchens. Behind a continuous façade of cabinetry, a hidden passage blurs the line between furniture and architecture, and aims to elevate everyday routines. Now offered as a standard SKU in both one- and two-door configurations, the system integrates into Elmwood layouts. An exterior reveals a planned storage and prep zone, while refined hinges, available in Satin Nickel, Matte Black, White, or Polished Brass, complete the composition. The pantry offers concealed storage, discreet work surfaces, and effortless circulation.

Atlante paneling / Virtus island | L’Ottocento
The new kitchen island by L’Ottocento, born in collaboration with Russo Sgarbossa, aims to provide kitchen spaces with a refined aesthetic. The combination of linear shapes and innovative materials result in a contemporary style with warm tones. The boiserie Atlante, handcrafted in Italian Walnut – Noce Tabacco, extends to a full height, and softens the space through the materiality of the wood. It is equipped with swing or pocket doors to accommodate pantry spaces, appliances and shelves. Virtus, the units located in the center, in brushed vintage steel, are completed with wall units. The display cases on the sides, with illuminated shelves, lighten the aesthetics of the wall, and support the overall mood of the piece.
In the front, two steel islands of the same height stand out. The Virtus model, which coordinates with the kitchen, interacts with the storage wall: the central block, equipped with a hob and downdraft extraction system. The second island, designed with the addition of stools as a snack top, stands out for its slender lines and the addition of drawers. The geometry of the shapes, along with the expressiveness of the materials, aim to favour timeless elegance and functionality to enhance the culinary experience.
