Continuum | Envirotech
Continuum is a modular lounge system built from the one material the furniture industry has never figured out how to recover: the work surface. Laminate work surfaces pulled from decommissioned office furniture are engineered into Continuum’s structural core, turning the material the industry throws away into the part that holds the product up. It is upholstered in Kvadrat’s TelaMia, a 100 per cent recycled polyester, with connecting table tops made from upcycled end-of-life textile waste.
Designed with Common Object Studio and manufactured by Canadian company Envirotech, Continuum, which was launched at NeoCon, is modular and reconfigurable by design. Components can be rearranged, reupholstered, repaired, and adapted as a workplace evolves, then reclaimed through Envirotech’s Furniture-as-a-Service program and put back to use. Continuum is not remanufactured; it is newly manufactured from smarter inputs, engineered to a net-new, contract-grade standard. It supports circularity in office furniture by addressing existing waste while advancing materiality, design, and product innovation.
Pohm Lounge | Division Twelve
At NeoCon, Canadian company Division Twelve introduced Pohm, its first upholstered lounge chair and a natural expansion into soft seating. Inspired by the French word for apple (pomme), the name evokes a sense of roundness, warmth and familiarity, qualities reflected in the chair’s form and experience. Division Twelve is the sister brand of industry icon Keilhauer and offers specifiers additional options for commercial, hospitality and outdoor-driven environments.
Designed by Studio Marion under the direction of Nicole Marion, Pohm is defined by a plush, enveloping seat held within an exposed tubular frame, balancing comfort with clarity of construction. At its core is a rounded wooden sphere at the end of the armrest, a “palm rest” of sorts. More than a detail, it becomes a natural point of contact and a place to rest the hand. This moment introduces a sense of calm and connection, softening the industrial expression with a human interaction. The contrast between the precision of metal and the warmth of wood is not only visual, but experiential, inviting engagement and reinforcing a relationship to its material.
Aom | Arper
During NeoCon, Arper showcased its latest launches in its Chicago showroom, including Aom, a new seating collection by Jean-Marie Massaud that explores comfort through fully recyclable materials. Built from two interlocking components, Aom eliminates polyurethane entirely, replacing it with expanded polypropylene and recyclable Breathair padding. The result is lightweight, modular seating designed for longevity, circularity, and ease of disassembly. Aom adapts naturally to different settings, from lounge areas to lobbies, waiting areas, terraces, and outdoor spaces. Its sustainability is first and foremost reflected in its construction, with materials designed to last. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the sofa is available in one-, two-, or three-seat versions, with a lightweight design that facilitates movement and reconfiguration.
SoftBrick | Stylex
Launched at NeoCon, SoftBrick is a new modular lounge system designed in collaboration with the Italian duo LucidiPevere. SoftBrick represents the design studio’s third partnership with Stylex, following the release of the Underline and Oko collections. Known for their cross-disciplinary approach, Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere bring a thoughtful balance of experimentation and refinement to each project.
With SoftBrick, Stylex and LucidiPevere present a system that is comfortable and prioritizes both experience and expression. It balances softness and structure, pairing comfort with an architectural aesthetic and versatility while bringing a residential feel into contract environments. A range of seat shapes and dual seat height options enable multiple configurations, while the modular plinth base, paired with a broad selection of powder coat finishes, allows designers to create tailored compositions with clarity and cohesion.
