IDC announces two upcoming events for designers to mark on their calendars

IDC’s ISPC and the CSC Building Expo are returning to Toronto early next year, offering designers and industry professionals opportunities for networking and collaboration.

Designers looking for opportunities to connect with other professionals in 2026 may be interested in the following events.

IDC’s ISPC is returning to Toronto for three conversations featuring designer panelists from across the commercial sector. Participants can expect networking opportunities with speakers and designer attendees during interactive Q&As. The ISPC takes place in cities across Canada, and will stop in Toronto on Feb. 4, 2026, at the Lutron Electronics showroom.

Benefits of participating include an expanded network of registered interior designers and architects, and two-way conversations with registered designers, architects, and other sales professionals. Participants can also gain helpful tips on how their studios operate and how to join their network of industry resources, as well as a certificate of completion.

The 48th CSC Building Expo, which is taking place on Feb. 25, 2026, at the Metro Convention Centre, is a technical trade show for designers, architects, spec writers, construction professionals and more. This is IDC’s third year of partnership with the show, and provides a way for the interior design community and industry to interact with the construction industry.

Designers are invited to attend the show’s tabletop and seminars, gaining insights and expanding their knowledge and network. They will also have opportunities to discover the latest trends in construction, explore cutting-edge technologies, connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and forge new partnerships. This event offers an opportunity to meet industry leaders, potential collaborators, and suppliers who can help take projects to new heights.
