Bosch’s four-year commitment to RMHC Canada will provide  program funding and the opportunity to outfit RMHC’s 33 program locations across the country with its German engineered home appliances.

“Each of our 33 RMHC programs across Canada offer families the familiar comforts of home to help make our families’ journeys a little easier, such as a place to sleep, a kitchen to prepare your child’s favourite meal, laundry facilities, and so much more,” said Cathy Loblaw, CEO, RMHC Canada. “Appliances are an important extension of RMHC’s mission delivery and our ability to support the overall health and well-being of our families. We are incredibly grateful to our partners at Bosch for meeting us where our families’ needs are, at a time when it’s needed most.”

Canadian Ronald McDonald Houses and Family Rooms will receive kitchen and laundry equipment upgrades to reduce time, from quiet dishwashers, to ovens that will help families tackle dinner faster. In addition, RMHC laundry facilities will be equipped with Bosch’s ENERGY STAR compact laundry pairs.

“The values of service to the community expressed through the work of Ronald McDonald Houses, closely aligns with the core values of the Bosch brand, and our slogan, Invented for Life”, said CEO Dale Elliott. “That’s why we are proud to support this much needed service, keeping families connected during a stressful time”

“It’s important to note that the motivation for our involvement with RMHC came from our Culture Team. It’s made up of employees who dedicated themselves to finding a worthy cause to partner with and support”, said Rainer Kinateder, CFO. “They recognized the immense need to support families who are feeling the stress of having to travel far from home to get the medical treatment their sick child needs” he continued.
