Timothy | Yabu Pushelberg with Stellar Works
Designed by Canadian creative studio Yabu Pushelberg, Timothy is a dining collection defined by structural clarity, material warmth, and comfort. The collection includes a dining chair and table that balance geometry with softened detailing, creating a calm architectural presence suited for residential and hospitality environments. Timothy takes its name from the T-shaped joint created where the back leg meets the arm. The chair pares back the traditional wingback, retaining a sense of embrace while introducing a lighter, more contemporary profile. A solid wood frame cradles a clean-edged upholstered seat and split backrest, balancing structure and softness with visual lightness. The all-wood dining table mirrors the chair’s sculptural language through softened edges, curvilinear profiles, and resolved proportions. Rooted in Eastern and Western sensibilities, the collection expresses comfort and sophistication through restraint, material clarity, and the contrast of wood and fabric.
“With Timothy, we were inspired by the archetype of a classic wingback chair, but we wanted to strip it back. By removing the weight and the bulk, what remains is the structure, a subtle sense of enclosure. We wanted to evoke the feeling of being held without being confined; it feels familiar, yet lighter and more attuned to the way we live now,” said George Yabu, co-founder of Yabu Pushelberg.
Etta | Yabu Pushelberg with Keilhauer
Etta is a lounge collection created by Canadian brand Keilhauer in collaboration with Yabu Pushelberg. The collection introduces a more immersive, human-centered vision for the modern workplace. Etta is inspired by moments between “heads-down work” and the end of the day. Defined by refined lines and a quietly sculptural, considered form, Etta translates the language of luxury into the workplace, bringing the warmth and ease of a hospitality-driven approach into the space. The collection features 26 pieces, including a range of seating, modular lounge elements, and tables designed to work together in flexible, cohesive configurations.
Purple 14p | Bethan Laura Wood with Bocci
Canadian lighting brand Bocci has introduced a new purple edition of its 14p. The new portable light is debuting during this year’s edition of the London Design Festival in a David Bowie-Labyrinth-inspired scenography in partnership with designer Bethan Laura Wood. The 14p has become one of Bocci’s most recognizable and beloved designs, and Wood is excited to bring her own perspective to it. She dubbed the light the “Bowie Ball,” using the film Labyrinth’s elaborate, maze-like architecture as inspiration for the installation. The scenography takes shape as a sculptural network of colourful totems, each crowned with playful arrangements of the portable lights that create dramatic compositions through an interplay of colour, light, and structure.
“I’m interested in making objects that are grounded in experimentation and material investigation but also connect with contemporary living,” said Wood. With Labyrinth Dreams, she “hoped to create an interesting fantasy, where the protagonist is the 14p.”
